If Worksuite shows an error when you try to log in, or a link from an email won't open, the message usually points to the fix. Find what you see below and follow the steps for it. Most problems are solved in a few minutes without waiting for anyone.

How you log in depends on your client's workspace. It can be a secure login link sent by email, a password, Google sign-in, or a password plus a two-factor authentication (2FA) code. Each client has its own Worksuite address, and an account with one client doesn't log you in to another.

TABLE OF CONTENTS

"Sorry your e-mail or password is incorrect."

This message appears for a few different reasons:

  • The email address or password has a typo, or Caps Lock is on.
  • You're on a different client's Worksuite address than the one that invited you.
  • You never finished accepting your invitation, so your account isn't set up yet. A password reset doesn't help in this case.
  • Your client removed or archived your account.

To fix it:

  1. Open the invitation email from your client and check which email address it was sent to. Log in with that address.
  2. Use the Worksuite address in that email to reach the right login page.
  3. If you never finished registering, open the invitation email and complete it. If the invitation has expired, ask your client to send a new one.
  4. If your account is set up, click Reset password (or Setup password) on the login page, or click Email me a secure login.

  1. Check your spam, junk and promotions folders.
  2. Search your inbox for "Worksuite". Some clients send these emails under their own company name.
  3. Wait a few minutes, then request one more email. Use the email address your client invited.

If nothing arrives, your invitation may not be accepted yet, or your client may have archived your account. Worksuite doesn't send login or reset emails to archived accounts, and the login page doesn't show a message about it. Contact your client. Only your client can restore your access.

"This account is archived"

Your client has archived your profile, so you can't log in to their Worksuite workspace. Contact your client. Only they can restore it.

"Your account was locked" or "Too many tries"

After too many wrong passwords, Worksuite stops you from trying again for a while. The message tells you how long to wait, for example "Your account was locked for 15 minutes after reaching maximum of invalid attempts." or "Too many tries. Please try again in 30 seconds." Wait for that time to pass, then reset your password or request a login link instead of guessing again.

"Your password has expired."

Some clients require a new password every set number of days. Five days before your password expires, Worksuite emails you a link to choose a new one. If it has already expired, click Reset password on the login page and follow the email to set a new password.

An invitation link works only until your account is created.

  • "The account has been already created" or the link opens your dashboard: you already have an account. Go to your client's Worksuite address and log in with a login link or your password.
  • "The link is invalid." or the invitation has expired, and you never registered: ask your client to send a new invitation.

Links expire after a time your client's workspace sets. When you request more than one, only the newest link may work, so older links can show as expired.

  1. Click Request a new link. You'll see "The new link has been sent."
  2. Open the newest email and click its link straight away.
  3. If the link still fails, copy it into a private or incognito browser window.

If Request a new link does nothing, try a private window or another browser. If it still doesn't work, contact Worksuite Support.

"Could not log in with Google", "SSO not configured" or "User is not assigned to this application"

Single sign-on (SSO) is the login your client's own employees use. As a freelancer, you usually log in with the email your client invited, using a login link or a password.

  • "Could not log in with Google": Google sign-in works only when your Google email is the same email your client invited. If they're different, use a login link or password.
  • "SSO not configured": this workspace doesn't use SSO for your login. Go back to the login page and request a login link or use your password.
  • "User is not assigned to this application" or a prompt to create an account with your client's company: this message comes from your client's company login system, not from Worksuite. Log in with your invited email and a login link or password instead. If your client wants you to use their SSO, contact them.

"403 Forbidden"

A 403 error often comes from your network or browser.

  1. Turn off any VPN.
  2. Switch networks, for example from Wi-Fi to mobile data.
  3. Try a private or incognito window, or another browser.

If Worksuite works on another network but not this one, contact your internet provider or IT team. Otherwise, contact Worksuite Support.

A blank page, a 404 page, pages that keep loading, or buttons that do nothing

  • Old bookmark: saved links can point to old addresses. Log in from your client's main Worksuite address, then bookmark it again.
  • Signed in to more than one Worksuite site: if you work with more than one client on Worksuite, log out of the others, or use a separate browser window for each.
  • "CSRF Failed: CSRF cookie not set.": your browser isn't saving Worksuite's cookies. Allow cookies for the site, turn off browser extensions, and clear your cookies and cache.
  • On a phone: try a browser on a computer.

For full browser steps, see General Troubleshooting: Fixing Common Platform Issues.

Copy the link and paste it into a private or incognito window without logging in first. The page you were sent to should open after you log in there. Use the link from the newest email.

If none of these fix it, contact Worksuite Support with your client's Worksuite address, the email address your client invited, a screenshot or short screen recording of the exact message, and your browser and device.
