If Worksuite says your email or password is incorrect, or a login link or password reset never arrives, you're usually on the wrong login page or using a different email from the one your client invited. This article shows you how to find the right page and the right email, and what to do if you work with more than one client on Worksuite.

What you'll see
- The message "Sorry your e-mail or password is incorrect."
- You request a login link or password reset, and no email arrives.
- An error such as "Permission denied" or "You are logged in." when you open a link from your client, or an invitation that won't accept.
- Your client says they can't see onboarding you already completed.
Log in on your client's own login page
Each client has its own Worksuite address. It usually looks like yourclient.worksuite.com, or it uses your client's own domain, such as talent.yourclient.com.
- Find your invitation email from your client. Its subject is "[Client] wants to work with you".
- Open the link in that email. It takes you into your client's Worksuite.
- Note the address in your browser, such as yourclient.worksuite.com, and bookmark that address, not the link from the email. Links in emails expire.
The worksuite.com website is for companies learning about Worksuite. You can't log in to your client's account from there. If your client's login address doesn't load, ask your client for the right address.
On your client's login page you can:
- Enter your Email and Password and click Login (Login with email if the page also offers single sign-on).
- Click Email me a secure login, enter your email and click Send, if your client's page shows that option.
- Click Reset password (on some pages it's called Setup password), enter your email and click Request reset link.
Use the email your client invited
Worksuite sends login links and password resets only to the exact email on your account. If you enter a different email, nothing is sent, and you won't get an error email. The page shows "Check your email" either way.
- Try every email you might have used: work and personal, spelling variants, and anything your password manager fills in.
- Search all your inboxes for the original invitation. The address it was sent to is your login email.
- Ask your client which email they invited you with.
A few more things to know:
- You log in with your email address. There's no separate username.
- Your Worksuite password is separate from your company, Google or client system passwords. Worksuite Support can't reset those other passwords.
- If you have never logged in, a password reset email isn't sent. Use the link in your invitation email, or Email me a secure login if your client's page shows it.
- If you request a login link again within 5 minutes, no new email is sent. Wait 5 minutes, check your spam folder, then try again.
You need an invitation first
You can log in only after you have an account with that client: from their invitation email, an invite link they shared with you, or an application on their careers page. If you register yourself on a different client's site, or with a different email, the client who wants to work with you won't see your profile. Ask them to send an invitation to the email you want to use.
Working with more than one client
You can use the same email with several clients. Each client's Worksuite is separate:
- You have a separate profile with each client.
- Your onboarding, tax forms, bank details and compliance documents don't carry over. You complete them again for each client.
- A password you set with one client doesn't work on another client's login page. Set up a password or request a login link on each client's page.
To accept an invitation from a new client, open it while logged out of your other Worksuite accounts.
"Permission denied" or the invitation won't accept
This happens when your browser is still logged in to another account in the same client's Worksuite, such as a second profile or a team member account you also have with that client.
- Log out of Worksuite in your browser.
- Open the link again in a private or incognito window, or in a different browser.
- Keep using a separate browser or browser profile for each Worksuite account.
The link opens your profile, and your invitation status changes from Invited once you accept. Your client and Worksuite Support can't accept an invitation for you.
You were invited again with a different email
A new invitation to a different email creates a second profile with a pending invitation. Your client can't see onboarding you completed on the other profile.
- Decide which profile to keep. Usually that's the one where you finished onboarding.
- Ask your client to remove the other profile. If they can't, contact Worksuite Support.
Changing the email you log in with
If you can log in, you can change your email address yourself. See How to Update Your Profile, Email Address and Password. If you can't log in, contact Worksuite Support and ask them to change it.
Still not sure which email you used?
Contact Worksuite Support with:
- your full name
- your client's name
- every email address you might have used
Support can confirm which email your account uses and send a login link to it.
