Welcome to Worksuite! We're glad you're here. Getting into your account should be simple and secure. This guide walks you through your login options, how to set up 2FA, and what to do if things get stuck.

Why this matters: Whether you're just starting out or handling multiple projects, understanding your login options and 2FA helps you work faster and keeps your account safe.

Understanding Your Login Options

Worksuite gives you flexibility in how you access your account. Depending on how your workspace is set up, you may have access to one or more of these options:

Secure Login Links
Magic links sent straight to your email. No password needed. You can bookmark these links for faster login next time. Your workspace administrator can set how long the link stays active.

Password Login
A traditional username/password setup. You create your password in your account settings. Whether passwords are required or optional depends on your workspace configuration.

Two-Factor Authentication (2FA)
An extra security layer that requires both your password and a code from your phone's authenticator app. Gives you peace of mind that only you can access your account, even if someone gets your password.

Pro tip: Login links and 2FA can't be used together. If you want to use 2FA, you'll need to disable secure login links and use password login instead.

The easiest way to get in: no password to remember.

  1. Go to the Worksuite login page
  2. Enter your email address
  3. Click Send Login Link
  4. Check your email (including spam folder) for a message from Worksuite
  5. Click the link in the email — you're in!
Note: Login links expire after a certain period set by your workspace. If your link has expired, just request a new one from the login page.

Want to bookmark your login link?
You can save the link to your bookmarks or password manager for faster access next time. Just click the link from your email, and once you're logged in, you can bookmark that page.

Logging In with a Password

If your workspace requires or allows password login, here's how to set one up and use it.

Setting Up Your Password

  1. Go to the Worksuite login page
  2. Click Set Up Password
  3. Enter your email address
  4. You'll receive an email with a link to create your password
  5. Click the link and follow the prompts to set a strong password
  6. Your password is now ready to use
Password requirements: Your workspace may have specific password rules (like minimum length or special characters). You'll see these requirements when you create your password.

Logging In with Your Password

  1. Go to the Worksuite login page
  2. Enter your email address
  3. Click Log In with Password
  4. Enter your password
  5. Click Log In

Setting Up Two-Factor Authentication (2FA)

2FA adds a second security checkpoint: something you know (your password) and something you have (a code from your phone). This section covers both optional and mandatory 2FA setups.

Note: 2FA requires a password to be set up first, and secure login links must be disabled. If you're currently using login links, you'll need to switch to password login.

Setting Up Optional 2FA

If your workspace allows optional 2FA, you can turn it on whenever you're ready.

  1. Log into your Worksuite account using your email and password
  2. Go to Settings (usually found in the top navigation or account menu)
  3. Select Account
  4. Look for Set Up 2FA and click it
  5. You'll be prompted to download an authenticator app (if you don't have one already)
    • Popular options: Google Authenticator, Microsoft Authenticator, Authy, or any app that supports TOTP codes
  6. Open your authenticator app and scan the QR code shown on your screen
  7. The app will generate a 6-digit verification code
  8. Enter that code into Worksuite to confirm setup
  9. You're all set! From now on, you'll need your password and the code from your app to log in

Setting Up Mandatory 2FA

Some workspaces require 2FA for all freelancers. If this applies to you, you'll set it up during your first login after your password is ready.

  1. Go to the Worksuite login page
  2. Click Set Up Password (if you haven't already)
  3. Create your password and confirm it via email
  4. Log in with your email and the password you just created
  5. You'll see a prompt to set up 2FA — this is required to continue
  6. Download an authenticator app (if you don't have one):
    • Popular options: Google Authenticator, Microsoft Authenticator, Authy, or any app that supports TOTP codes
  7. Open your authenticator app and scan the QR code shown on your screen
  8. Enter the 6-digit code from your app into Worksuite
  9. Log in again with your email, password, and the 2FA code
  10. Done! You're now fully set up and logged in
Authenticator apps: These apps generate time-based codes that change every 30 seconds. They work offline, so you don't need internet to get your code — just open the app and read the 6-digit number.

Troubleshooting: Can't Log In

Login Link Isn't Working

The link expired: Login links have a time limit. Request a new one from the login page — it only takes a few seconds.

Can't find the email: Check your spam or promotions folder. If it's not there, try requesting the link again. Make sure you're using the correct email address.

The link is broken or gives an error: This sometimes happens if the link is too old or has already been used. Request a fresh link from the login page.

Password Login Isn't Working

Forgot your password: Go to the login page and look for a "Forgot Password?" or "Reset Password" link. Follow the prompts to create a new one.

Getting an "Invalid Password" error: Double-check that caps lock isn't on and that you're entering your password correctly. Passwords are case-sensitive. If you're still stuck, use the password reset option.

Haven't set up a password yet: Click Set Up Password on the login page and follow the steps in the "Setting Up Your Password" section above.

Can't Log In at All

Try these steps:

  1. Clear your browser's cache and cookies, then try again
  2. Try a different browser (Chrome, Firefox, Safari, Edge)
  3. Make sure you're using the correct Worksuite login URL
  4. Check your internet connection
  5. Try logging in from a different device (phone, tablet, another computer)

Troubleshooting: 2FA Issues

The 2FA Code Isn't Working

The code expired: 2FA codes only last 30 seconds. If it expired before you could enter it, just wait for the next code to appear in your authenticator app (it will update automatically) and try again.

Entering the code too slowly: Codes refresh every 30 seconds. If you're taking longer to type it in, the code might change. Make sure to enter it quickly, or wait for the next code to appear and try again.

Code keeps failing: This could mean your phone's clock is out of sync. Check that your phone's date and time settings are set to automatic/network time. Then try the code again.

Lost Your Phone or Changed It

If you can't access your authenticator app anymore — lost phone, switched devices, factory reset — you'll need to reset your 2FA. Here's what to do:

  1. Contact the support team at support@worksuite.com
  2. Let them know you need to reset your 2FA
  3. Be ready to verify your identity. The team may ask for:
    • Your phone number
    • Your address
    • The last amount you were paid
    • The last task you worked on
  4. Once verified, the support team will reset your 2FA so you can set it up again with your new device
Keep your authenticator safe: Once your 2FA is set up, your authenticator app is the key to your account. If something happens to your phone, the only way back in is through the support team's verification process — which is why they need to confirm your identity.

Can't Access the Authenticator App

The app won't open: Try reinstalling it. Download it fresh from your phone's app store (Google Play, Apple App Store, etc.), and then you'll need to set up 2FA again by scanning the QR code in your Worksuite settings.

The app won't generate codes: Make sure your phone has internet access at least once every 24 hours so the app can stay synced. If it's been offline for a while, turn on internet, open the app, and wait a moment for it to sync. The codes should start appearing again.

Still stuck: Contact support at support@worksuite.com and describe what's happening. They can walk you through resetting 2FA.
