Welcome to Worksuite! This guide walks you through everything you need to do to register your account and complete onboarding so you're ready to receive work and get paid.

Worksuite is the platform your client uses to manage your contract, onboarding, work assignments, and payments. If you have questions about the work itself — like project details, task availability, or your start date — contact your client directly. Worksuite Support is here to help with technical platform questions.

Step 1: Register Your Account

To get started, you'll receive an invitation email from Worksuite with a unique registration link. Click that link to create your account. You'll be asked to provide:

  • Your legal name — Use the name on your government-issued ID. This will appear in your agreements, tax forms, and payment records.
  • Your email address — This becomes your login. Make sure it's one you check regularly.
  • A password — Choose something secure. You can reset it at any time from the login page.
Note: If you'd like to register as a company (LLC, corporation, etc.) but don't see that option, contact your client. They can update your account type on their end.

Step 2: Complete Your Onboarding

After registering, you'll be guided through an onboarding workflow — a series of steps your client has configured to collect the information they need from you. Every client's workflow is different, but common steps include:

  • Profile information (skills, bio, availability, portfolio)
  • Compliance documents (background check, insurance, certifications)
  • Agreements and contracts to review and sign
  • Banking and tax information for payments
  • Identity verification (if required by your client)

You can track your progress using the stage indicator (shows which stage you're in) and the progress bar (shows completion percentage within the current stage). When the progress bar reaches 100% and you save, you'll automatically advance to the next stage.

You won't be able to submit invoices or receive payments until your onboarding is fully complete. If you're unsure whether your onboarding is finished, check your profile status — it should show Active.

Step 3: Sign Your Agreements

Most onboarding workflows include one or more agreements to sign electronically. Here's what to expect:

  1. Navigate to the Sign Agreement stage in your onboarding.
  2. Read the agreement thoroughly before signing — it's a legal document.
  3. Fill in any required text fields as indicated.
  4. Click the signature field and draw or type your full legal name.
  5. Click Sign or Accept to complete and move to the next stage.

You'll receive a confirmation email with a copy of your signed agreement for your records.

If you have questions about the content of an agreement before signing, contact your client — they set the terms. For help with the signing process itself, contact Worksuite Support.

Step 4: Set Up Your Payment Information

To receive payments, you'll need to complete the banking and tax sections of your onboarding. These are required before any invoices can be processed. You'll be asked to:

  • Enter your bank account or payment method details
  • Submit your tax form (W-9 for US freelancers, W-8BEN for international)

Make sure your banking information is accurate. Incorrect details can delay or fail your payments.

After You Complete Onboarding

Once all your onboarding stages are complete, your profile moves into review. Your client will confirm your submission before your profile becomes fully active. This usually takes 1–5 business days.

When your profile is confirmed, you'll see your status change to Active and your contract will go live. From there, your client will assign you to tasks and projects through the platform.

Task assignments are made by your client, not by Worksuite. If you've completed onboarding and your profile is active but you haven't received a task yet, reach out to your client directly through the Messages tab in your Worksuite profile.
