Do you work with third-party staffing suppliers that manage their own book of talent? If so, read below!

Staffing Supplier Relationships

You can offer these partners the ability to bring in and manage their talent in Worksuite. You can think of this as a Parent-Child relationship where the Parent is the staffing provider, and the Child is the end worker.

Reach out to your Account Manager or support@worksuite.com to request Supplier (Parent) and Worker (Child) talent types be added to your account. (Note - the terms "supplier" and "worker" can be modified to fit your business needs).

Adding a staffing supplier

Once initiated, the Staffing Suppliers option is added to the side taskbar just below 'All Partners', where all your suppliers will be listed.

  1. You can add any new staffing supplier directly in this section by clicking Add Staffing Supplier. The new supplier should be assigned as 'Supplier' in the vendor type options. (You can also select "supplier" from the talent type dropdown menu when adding from the Talent Directory page).
  2. Assign workflows, relationship managers, and groups as you would with a standard talent invitation.
  3. Click to send your invite now, or save it for later.

Adding staffing workers

Add your staffing workers using the same method to add any other talent type, with one minor addition. You will also need to identify the supplier record you'd like to add the worker to.

  1. Navigate to your Talent Directory page
  2. Click the button to add new talent.
  3. When selecting the talent type, be sure to select "worker". This will bring up another option to select the supplier name.
  4. Start typing to select the desired supplier.
  5. Assign workflows, relationship managers, and groups as you would with a standard talent invitation
  6. Click to send your invite now, or save it for later.

Functionality available to the staffing supplier

Staffing suppliers will be able to take the following actions to manage their workers:

  1. Add workers - Note: they cannot invite the worker: this must be done from the internal Worksuite user perspective.
  2. Browse the workers assigned to them - standard visible fields are name, location, and availability (these can be toggled on and off from the supplier view).
  3. Create invoices for the workers - the invoice raised will for the 'Supplier' and therefore not be visible to the attributed workers. Note: Your internal users can also create an invoice directly for the worker, which would then be visible.

Finding & identifying supplier-worker relationships

Administrators can identify the associated Staffing Supplier related to the worker by:

1. Searching for the worker's profile or supplier's profile by name

2. Within the worker profile under the section 'Staffing Supplier', just below the Availability module

3. In the Onboarding stage preview section

4. Ability to filter worker talent type or by the desired staffing supplier in the Talent Directory page

5. Display workers in Worker tab inside Staffing Supplier's profile
