Zapier connects Worksuite to thousands of other apps, so information moves between them without anyone copying it by hand. Each automation is called a Zap. A trigger in one app starts it, and one or more actions follow in other apps. For example, when a task is created in Worksuite, a Zap can add it to a Google Calendar.
Who can do this: Anyone on your team with a Worksuite login and a Zapier account. A Zap can only see and do what the connected Worksuite user can.

Before you start
- Create a Zapier account at zapier.com.
- Have your Worksuite address ready, for example yourcompany.worksuite.com.
- Decide which Worksuite user to connect. Zaps act with that person's access, so pick someone who can see the records the Zap needs.
For QuickBooks or NetSuite, ask Worksuite Support about a direct integration instead. Once set up, it appears under Settings → Integrations.
What Worksuite can do in Zapier
Your integrations can run in either direction:
- Worksuite as the trigger: something happens in Worksuite, such as a new partner being added or a task changing status, and the Zap does something in another app.
- Worksuite as the action: something happens in another app, and the Zap creates or updates a record in Worksuite, such as a task.
To see the full, current list, add a Worksuite step to a Zap and open its event menu. Zapier lists every trigger or action the Worksuite app offers there.
Zapier updates its screens from time to time. If a Zapier label below doesn't match what you see, check Zapier's own help center for the current steps.Connect your Worksuite account
You do this once, the first time you add a Worksuite step to a Zap.
- In the Worksuite step, choose the option to sign in or connect a new account.
- In the window that opens, enter your Worksuite address, for example yourcompany.worksuite.com. Leave out "https://".
- Sign in to Worksuite as the user you want Zapier to use.
- On the Authorize Zapier? page, click Authorize.
The window closes, and the connected account appears in the Worksuite step. Your other Zaps can reuse it.
If you can't find Worksuite when you search for apps in Zapier, contact Worksuite Support to get access to the app.
Build a Zap
- In Zapier, click Create, then Zaps.
- For the trigger, search for the app where the data starts and select it. Choose Worksuite if the Zap should start from something that happens in Worksuite.
- Choose the trigger event and select the connected account.
- Test the trigger. Zapier pulls a sample record so you can check the data is right.
- Add an action. Choose the app where the data should go, then the action event.
- Map the fields: pick which value from the trigger goes into each field of the action.
- Test the action and check the result in the other app.
- Publish the Zap to turn it on.
From now on, the Zap runs each time the trigger happens.
Example: add new Worksuite tasks to Google Calendar
- Trigger: choose Worksuite and the event for a new task.
- Action: choose Google Calendar and the event that creates a calendar event.
- Map the task name to the event title, and the task dates to the event start and end.
- Test both steps, then publish the Zap.
Each new task in Worksuite now appears in the calendar you picked.
Call the Worksuite API from a Zap
If the Worksuite app doesn't have the trigger or action you need, you can call the Worksuite API from a Zap with Zapier's Webhooks by Zapier. This needs API credentials for your account: a client ID and a client secret. Keep the client secret private. Contact Worksuite Support to enable API access.
Troubleshooting
Zapier can't connect to your Worksuite account Check the address format: yourcompany.worksuite.com, with no "https://" and no slash at the end. Then connect the account again.
A Zap stopped working or returns less data than before The Zap uses the access of the person who connected the account. If that person left your team or their role changed, connect the Worksuite account again with another user, then update the Zap to use it.
A Zap runs later than expected How quickly a Zap runs depends on the trigger and on your Zapier plan. Zapier's help center explains the timing for each plan.
If a Zap still doesn't work, contact Worksuite Support with the name of the Zap and the error message Zapier shows.
